Lola Jiblazee
Mixed mediaLola Jiblazee is a Brooklyn-based mixed-media and street artist born in 1985 in Tbilisi, Georgia, who immigrated to New York City in her early twenties. Her practice began with iconography, a form she chose for the interpretive room it allowed, before expanding into a broader multidisciplinary approach spanning painting, murals, and installation. She describes herself as a "documentarian of internal truth," exploring questions of identity, politics, and religion, and her street art has been documented by outlets including Brooklyn Street Art. Her exhibition series "Broken in the Right Places" reflects on imperfection as a source of beauty across art, music, and storytelling. She continues to live and work in New York City.
