Lisa Dombrow is a Brooklyn-based visual artist working in mixed media and photography. By her own account, she began taking long walks near her home early in the pandemic, finding solace in Prospect Park and Green-Wood Cemetery, and was drawn during those excursions to street art and other everyday creative expression around her neighborhood. Her photographic work, organized around subjects including Green-Wood Cemetery, Prospect Park, the Gowanus Canal, and Brooklyn street art, extends into collage and mixed-media pieces that draw on the same material.
