Fausto Manuel Ramos is an artist from the Bronx whose practice is rooted in 1990s New York graffiti culture, an interest sparked as a child through his uncle's tagging group. He began formal training at age eleven with weekend classes in illustration, animation, and fine arts at the Bronx Museum of the Arts, attended the High School of Art & Design, and later earned a psychology degree from New York University and a social work degree from Lehman College. Beyond graffiti, he works across oils, charcoal, watercolor, pastels, ink, acrylic, enamel, and photography, exploring the relationship between the urban landscape and the communities within it; his work has included a mural in Harlem. He works as a social worker with autistic children and co-manages the clothing company Lost Breed Culture, and his pieces are held by Yellow Hibiscus Gallery.
