My current work focuses on hyper-realistic replication, exploring the peculiar tension of translating ephemeral, organic forms into permanent ceramic. By isolating small, everyday objects and elevating them through meticulous detail, I invite the viewer to experience a moment of visual friction. I aim to achieve a level of realism that is almost unsettling—making the viewer wince as they reconcile the expected texture of the object with the cold, hard reality of fired clay.
