Callie Herzog

I create one-of-a-kind stoneware vessels using traditional hand-building techniques of pinch, coil, and slab. My tactile, organic vessels are rough and smooth, painted, glazed, unglazed, carved, flawed and scarred, embodying the emotional resonance of my many memories. The vessels' dynamic forms and surfaces reflect the vibrant diversity of my chosen home, Brooklyn, and of my lived experience.
