Akiko Jinnai Art Director, Clinical Art Therapist, Picture Book Author, Producer at Gekidan Garba Born in Fukuoka Prefecture. Graduated from Joshibi University of Art and Design (Department of Western Painting). In 1990, joined Shiseido Co., Ltd., where she was responsible for creative work across product packaging, window displays, graphics, TV commercials, and web media. She left the company in 2017. Since 2017, she has been engaged in art therapy for the elderly as a clinical art therapist, while also beginning her picture book production. Jebah Baum In my art I endeavor to achieve a quality of presence without artifice or representation. My aim is to evoke a proto-physical experience, displacing verbal narrative in favor of a direct visual engagement with form. Visual artist, curator and educator, Baum has a BFA from SUNY Purchase and an MFA from Cornell University. A native of the Hudson Valley, he began his art career in Stockholm, Sweden where he lived and worked periodically for over 25 years. He is currently collaborating with new music composer Steven Takasugi, creating sculptural objects for a concerto that will debut in Germany in 2026. He exhibits regularly in the U.S. and abroad.
