Astrid de Saint Anthost is a textile artist and designer based in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, where she runs Le Studio Anthost, an atelier producing hand-crafted textiles, pillows, rugs, lampshades, and art installations for interiors. Raised in Paris, she trained at Atelier Dynale, developing her craft working with luxury fashion houses including Gianfranco Ferré, John Galliano for Dior, Alexander McQueen for Givenchy, and Christian Lacroix. In 2017, after over 15 years in fashion, she turned to interior textiles, launching collections such as Écho and Onde & Or that combine freehand painting in pigment and watercolor with hand embroidery on silk, organza, and wool. She has collaborated with interior design firms recognized by the AD 100 and Elle Decor A-List.
This collection marks a return to the designer's roots, shaped by over 15 years in fashion. Freehand gestures in pigment and watercolor, enriched with delicate hand embroidery, unfold across silk, organza, and wool. Each piece is one of a kind, a singular textile artwork created to bring quiet elegance, texture, and individuality into the home.
